Using Baking Soda for BEAUTY, HAIR & BATH

Zit Buster!  Make a thick paste of baking soda and water and apply to any breakouts.  Let it sit overnight and wash off in the morning - it really works.

Facial Cleanser Sprinkle some baking soda into your hands and use a bit of water to make a paste to clean your face with.  It's a gentle scrub that will leave your skin feeling fantastic!  (I leave a box in the bathroom for just this reason.)

Hair Build-Up Remover After a while you have build-up from shampoo.  Next time you wash your hair, Use baking soda.  The baking soda strips all build-up and leaves the hair soft and "really" clean.

Use Vinegar to Maintain a Healthy Glow to Your Face:

For maintaining a healthy glow to your face while maintaining your skin at its optimal pH, apply 3 part water:1 part vinegar to face with a cotton ball. Every am and pm. If you're in a hurry simply spray it or splash it for a naturally youthful appearance.

Apply vitamins and antioxidants to your face directly:

You can actually apply vitamins and antioxidants to your face directly.  Your skin is able to absorb what you put on to it.  By applying herbal salves, teas and facial washes, you're not only cleaning and rehydrating your skin; you're also giving it the additional vitamins it needs, too.

Citrus is high in vitamin C. Using lemon juice to clean your face is an excellent way to combat acne and oily skin problems for younger people, and the vitamin C is absorbed into your skin.  This extra vitamin C makes a great difference for people with older skin, not only gently cleansing, but also providing extra antioxidant protection, which can help the skin look smoother and younger.
